Welcome. This is the registration form for the 4th edition of the U.Porto 3MT® competition.
The data entered in this form will only be used by the U.Porto Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition organisers, including the jury members, for registration management purposes. These details will not be shared with third parties. The email will be used exclusively for communications related to the competition, including the dissemination of results. This data will be deleted one year after the final event of the edition.
The videos submitted through the Moodle platform will be shared with the members of the Evaluation Committee and will be viewed only by them. Videos that are not selected for the next stage will also be deleted one year after the competition. Videos from candidates who progress to the second stage will be kept for archival purposes, for an indefinite period.
The Science Communication training and the Final Competition for the public presentation of the finalists' work will be covered by the Communication and Image Service of the Rectory, with the resulting photo album being shared with all participants through a restricted access channel.
Furthermore, photographs and videos of candidates who reach the second stage of the competition, as well as coverage of their public presentation, may be used for advertising purposes, promotion, and disclosure of this initiative and its future editions, provided that image consent has been granted as explicitly stated at the end of this form.
Any questions regarding the processing of participants' personal data in U.Porto 3MT® or regarding the exercise of their rights as data subjects (access, rectification, or others) can be directed to the event organisers (3m-uporto@eventos.up.pt) or to the Data Protection Officer of U.Porto (dpo@reit.up.pt).
